Mecca Bingo helps a Seven Year Old

The Mecca Bingo Hall in Bridgwater was happy to announce for having helped a seven year old get a second chance at life. The hall was able to raise two hundred eighty five thousand pounds for the children’s charities. They were able to raise such a huge amount of money after launching the national campaign. This very same fund raiser was able to give a vital lifeline to the suffering seven-year-old kid. Let’s meet the little girl and know more about her story.

It was Amber Spear of Bridgwater who was able to receive help from the charity fund raiser from Mecca Bingo in Penel Orlieu. She has been suffering a debilitating muscular problem. Amber has a Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type III. She cannot propel a manual wheelchair on her own.

That’s why instead of playing with the rest of her friends outdoors, she can only watch from a far. However, the Mecca Bingo Wheel Difference national campaign was able to raise a hefty amount for kids’ charities. Actually, it was the national campaign that gave her a second chance. The Bridgwater bingo hall was able to raise about nine hundred pounds as part of the national campaign.

And so the hall was able to sponsor her and provide a brand new powered wheelchair. This will be able to help her and her whole family. This certainly has helped them greatly with her disability. She doesn’t have to be pushed around and she will be able to keep up with her friends according to Helen Spear, her mother.

Amber’s new wheelchair has certainly given her a new life. She will be able to adapt to her environment. It is easily adjustable as she grows. She won’t have to rely on her Mother or Father to push her. She will be able to drive it to school and be able to join her friends in various activities. Thanks to Mecca Bingo, more kids are being helped.
