Goodbye Credit Crunch, Hello Big Wins!

The credit crunch is all over the news and all over most people’s minds as Christmas approaches fast, and the effects are being felt in lad based Bingo halls around the country and indeed the world, but the online Bingo world is booming, according to gaming firm Carmen Media.  They state that 53 Bingo halls have closed down since the smoking ban was introduced last year; all this has led to a dramatic increase in the popularity of the online game.

Gala Bingo is easing the effects of the credit crunch by running an energy saving campaign by trying to encourage people to use energy efficient light bulbs.  Their campaign has arrived at Doncaster with a vengeance with even the Mayor taking time out to promote the initiative.  The Bingo firm is actually giving away millions of ‘green’ light bulbs to players.

One happy player, Kathy55 has just won £5,000 at Wink Bingo and she has shared her story widely in an Internet portal explaining how she did it!  I am afraid there is no magic trick or scientific technique, she simply paid her deposit and left her computer to do the rest.  When she came back to check on her progress she was staggered to see that her kind PC had won her £5,000!  Happy Christmas Kathy55!

One Bingo winner from Margate in Kent is looking for a new carpet after allegedly pacing it thin as he waited to watch and see if his numbers came up.  The 67-year-old retired gentleman won £60,000 on the game so he won’t be too worried about any damage he did in the process.  He simply said that he couldn’t believe it!  He said that he had been playing Bingo for years, and that although he had won plenty of small amounts, to win five figures was a dream come true.  He recalled thinking that he wasn’t sure what was better, the win, or being presented the cheque by Melinda Messenger!
