Bingo Port faces stall in the network’s growth

The country of the United Kingdom is home to the many online bingo networks in the world. That includes Bingo Port. However, Bingo Port seems to be taking a toll during these tough economic times such as most of the other companies are experiencing. According to Bingo Port, their quarterly report has shown only one percent of growth with regards to the number of players for the year 2008. It was a slow three months of October, November, and December. However, even the prize pools have decreased for those months of 2008. Let’s analyze this further.

Back in the 2008 third quarter report of Bingo Port, they earned a ten percent increase of bingo players for the UK bingo site. Perhaps the reason why the number of players has decreased can be due to the fact that there were also less prize pools available in the online bingo market as compared to the previous quarters of the year.

However, according to Bingo Port’s managing director, Scott Logan, the stall is already a sign that the online bingo industry, especially in the UK, is experiencing the effects of the tough economic times, none other than the recession. The market saturation is also recognized as a factor that is stalling the online bingo world of today. This time is a period of acquisitions and mergers not only in the online bingo network but across all the other industries around the globe.

The report came not as a shock but it was already expected by the company as well as the bingo experts. In fact, Bingo Port is still luck to have a 1% increase despite other online bingo companies not being able to sustain their businesses. Nevertheless, this doesn’t mean that online bingo networks such as Bingo Port will decrease their marketing and advertising efforts. They will continue to market their businesses to get out the maximum value from their current customer base.
